Dark Black Night
The night, Black night
Shrouds the ground with dark and rain
Heavy both do fall so morbidly upon us
How now shall the crow I seek
Show itself as if day?
Know I of what the future brings?
Living to die and a wedding ring?
No to reply truthful sound,
A small wood home 6 feet down.
The night is revealing though it blackened be
So dark, so bright, that but a crow could see
The rain, hard, the Lightning, loud, The smell, death.
Death, but a simple night cold as winters breath.
Sharp, our lives with shattered stabbing glass
Waiting steady for our mental pain to pass,
Or our blood to spill deep in sea
And our floating corpses rotted be.
Sick of life and tired of death
This knife buried in my chest cuts my breath.
I fade away staring at the sky
Wondering why, just why you cared.
